About this Blog

I love to travel — and I am fortunate to be able to spend a good amount of time traveling and collaborating with many great people. Originally I created this website in 2007 as a travel blog (which I update again and then) to give friends and family some impressions about life in Bangalore (my first blog post).

Anything data & AI — around 2010, after arriving at CERN to write my master’s thesis, I dedicated this blog more and more to data & AI.

In my twelve years of experience in the data domain, I have had the pleasure of working on numerous exciting projects and speaking at a few conferences. From the very beginning, I developed a passion for data visualization during my master’s thesis at CERN, which has grown over the years with the advent of self-service analytics software. In recent years, I worked first for Tableau, then for Microsoft in various sales roles.

Currently, I am living in the vibrant city of Frankfurt after spending some years in Switzerland, India, and China.
