Mindful Body Now Tracks Supplements: Protein, Creatine, Vitamins and More

Big update for Mindful Body: you can now track your daily supplement intake alongside your body composition measurements.

Why Supplement Tracking?

If you’re serious about body composition, you’re probably taking supplements. Protein shakes after workouts, creatine for muscle growth, vitamins for recovery. But keeping track of what you’ve taken each day? That usually means a separate app, a spreadsheet, or just hoping you remember.

Mindful Body now handles all of it in one place. Log your supplements right next to your weight, body fat, and circumference measurements.

How It Works

Create your own supplements. We deliberately don’t ship a pre-built list. You know what you take better than we do. Add each supplement with a name, unit (grams, milligrams, IU, milliliters, or capsules), and a default dose. Pick an emoji icon to identify it quickly.

One-tap logging. Your supplements appear as a list with a [+] button. Tap it to log your default dose instantly. Need a different amount? Tap the row to enter a custom dose.

Multiple doses per day. The [+] button stays visible after logging, so you can add a second protein shake or an evening vitamin dose. The app tracks totals and shows how many times you’ve logged each supplement.

Dashboard integration. A new “Today’s Supplements” card shows what you’ve taken and what’s still pending. Green checkmarks for logged items, empty circles for what’s left. A summary line tells you “2 of 3 taken” at a glance.

Unified history. The History tab now combines measurements and supplements in one timeline, grouped by day. Filter by All, Measurements, or Supplements. Tap any entry to edit, swipe to delete.

Designed for Privacy

Like everything in Mindful Body, your supplement data stays on your device. If you enable iCloud Sync, it syncs across your Apple devices. No data goes anywhere else. No analytics, no tracking.

Streaks Count Everything

Your logging streak now counts both measurements and supplement logs. Log a protein shake on Monday and step on the scale on Tuesday, your streak stays alive. This was a deliberate design choice: we want to reward consistency in tracking, not pressure you into taking supplements every day.
