Privacy Policy for Mindful Body

Alexander Loth (“we”, “us”, or “our”) built Mindful Body as a commercial app. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.
Information Collection and Use
Mindful Body stores your body measurement data (weight, body fat percentage, muscle mass, circumferences, BMR, and visceral fat level) locally on your device using SwiftData. If you enable iCloud Sync, this data is also stored in your private iCloud container via CloudKit.
We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your health data on our servers. All data remains on your device and/or in your personal iCloud account.
HealthKit
Mindful Body can read and write health data using Apple HealthKit, including body mass, body fat percentage, lean body mass, body mass index, waist circumference, basal energy expenditure, and height. This data is only accessed with your explicit permission and is never sent to external servers.
Progress Photos
Progress photos are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to any server or cloud service. If you enable Face ID protection, photos are secured with biometric authentication.
iCloud Sync
When enabled, your measurement data syncs across your devices via Apple CloudKit. This data is stored in your private iCloud container and is not accessible to us.
Subscriptions
Mindful Body offers auto-renewable subscriptions and a lifetime purchase managed through Apple’s App Store. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.
Analytics and Tracking
Mindful Body does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks. We do not collect usage analytics or behavioral data.
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time from Settings within the app. This removes all measurements, goals, and progress photos from your device.
Children’s Privacy
Mindful Body is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
